Factory supply Perfluorodecalin CAS 306-94-5 with good price

Breif introduction:
Perfluorodecalin , also known as octafluorodecahydronaphthalene or perfluorinated (decahydronaphthalene), has a melting point of -10 ℃ and a boiling point of 140 ℃. It is a colorless transparent liquid of perfluorinated carbon. A colloidal ultrafine emulsion composed of perfluorinated naphthalene and other perfluorinated compounds, as an artificial blood, has good oxygen carrying capacity. Under certain concentration and oxygen partial pressure conditions, its oxygen solubility is 20 times that of water and 2 times higher than that of blood.Perfluorodecalin (PFD) is a chemically and biologicallyinert biomaterial and, as many perfluorocarbons, is alsohydrophobic, radiopaque and has a high solute capacity forgases such as oxygen.

Uses Perfluorodecalin is a fluorous solvent generally used as a primary component of the fluorous biphasic system (FBS) or the fluorous multiphasic system (FMS) in synthetic chemistry. It is also used as an additive to increase oxygen solubility in fermentation media.
Perfluorodecalin is used as a building block reagent as well maintains ability to dissolve gases such as oxygen and increase oxygen to a location allowing for medicinal uses such as preserving tissue after pancreas transplants.Perfluorodecalin can be used as a blood substitute and is often used in retinal vitreous surgery; Due to its ability to dissolve and transport oxygen to the skin, it can be used as a skin conditioner in cosmetics and personal care products.

Package:Perfluorodecalinis packaged in a sealed brown reagent bottle to avoid contact with oxides, and stored in a cool, dry place with ventilation. The packaging specifications are generally 5g, 25g, 100g, 500g, 1kg, 25kg  etc., and can also be packaged according to user needs.
