Calcium Copper Titanate also known as CCTO, is a high dielectric constant inorganic energy storage material and one of the best materials for making supercapacitors. The higher the dielectric constant of a dielectric material, the greater the energy it can store. CCTO has an anomalous giant dielectric constant and extremely low loss (tg δ≈ 0.03), CCTO has high thermal stability. Within a wide temperature range (100-600K), the dielectric constant value remains unchanged. Only when the temperature is cooled below 100K, does the dielectric constant of CCTO sharply decrease( ε≈ Therefore, electronic ceramic materials made by adding CCTO can be used as dielectric and piezoelectric ceramic components.
